Not Quite Perfect Limerick

This was written for a Poetic Asides Wednesday prompt to write a silly poem. I am not good at writing limericks, but I have my own close version, so that is how the title came about.

Not Quite Perfect Limerick

There is an old poet of mirth
who gives her chores such wide berth
her shelves, they are dusty,
her attic smells musty—
she needs to be more down-to-earth.

    • Thank you, Misky. For some strange reason this was considered SPAM before. I found it, unSPAMED it, and approved it. Now it is where it should be. I am so glad I figured out you wrote this. Computers can be weird at times.
